Yeah, it’s dead now
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
I mean someone could fix it and get a rebuilt title, but it was freaking mint a few months ago. He was only the third owner, had all its maintenance records, nearly looked like new....this is why we can’t have nice things

More like E86'd, am I right?

This is my exact fear when it comes to my old M3. It showing up on Craigslist totaled as a part out. Not that that car was mint in any way, but still.

Every now and then I see an ad for an old car of mine. Engine’s done and it looks terrible.

My old E24 showed up a while back, overheated and non-running :/

That’s always disappointing

On the contrary, this is exactly why we can have nice things, if we hold on to them: somebody else will wreck one and keep up the supply of inexpensive parts for the survivors.

That is a fair point

I don’t know — I think I’d rather have passed it on before it ended up like that than have it happen while I still own it. And I speak from experience (not my fault, guy turned left without looking).

That’s a good point....ouch, that’s a depressing picture
